Actual area of a portion of territory subject to urban transformation. It includes the land area and the areas for land endowments including the existing ones.1
[Portugal] Ot: área de solo
Territorial area is a portion of territory delimited in plan by a closed polygonal line. Territorial area is also the measure of the planimetric representation area of that portion of territory.2
Additional notes: Territorial area, as a measure, can be expressed in square meters, square kilometers or hectares.
