[Gaia] Ot: Área de implantação
Is the value expressed in square meters, of the sum of the areas resulting from the projection on the horizontal plane of all buildings (residential and non-residential), including cantilever structures, annexes and secondary constructions, but excluding balconies, parapets, eaves and or other accessory elements or ornamental, with reduced volumetric impact.1

The implantation area of a building is the area of ground occupied by the building. It corresponds to the area of ground contained within a closed polygon comprising:

In the very particular case of buildings that are "bridged" over public roads, the area of the public road contained within the polygon is removed from the implantation area, calculated in accordance with the definition.
The implantation area is expressed in square metres.2
