Value expressed in square meters, resulting from the sum of the areas of all floors (floors), above and below ground, measured by the extrados of the exterior walls, excluding non-habitable attics, areas intended for parking, technical areas in particular (PT, thermal power station, garbage collection compartment, compartments for gas reservoirs or other petroleum products), external galleries, streets and other open spaces for public use covered by the building, visitable terraces, balconies and porches.1

Corresponds to the area, below or above the threshold, measured in square meters, by the outer perimeter of the exterior walls, intended for the different uses provided for in the plan: housing, commerce, services, tourism, compatible industry, logistics and private equipment, including warehouses and storage rooms and excluding balconies, attic and basement areas without a legal ceiling height and covered outdoor spaces for collective use (porches, roof terraces and covered terraces).2
