[Vila Nova de Gaia] Ot: Alinhamento dominante
Line that is defined by the intersection of the vertical planes of the facades, walls or fences, with the plane of the streets or adjacent land, which are the same distance from the road axis, constituting the majority extension (more than 50%) and which occurs or is foreseen to occur, in allotment or construction permit, or in admission of prior communication, on the same side of the street, evaluated in an extension of the street defined as follows:
- In a street layout section between existing transversals for each one side of the building;
- Or a length of 100 m measured on each side of the boundary of the same, in case the nearest transversal has a distance superior to 100m to the limit of the building, subject to urban planning operation. In the case where there is a patio in front of the buildings, those in which the variations in the implementation of the façade plan are not greater than 1 m from the dominant alignment are considered to correspond to the same alignment.1
